What went wrong at Xerox?
The main problem at Xerox was their management of employees. Their strict shedule forced workers to feel overworked and tired. In result, the employee left Xerox and carried valuble information with them into Xerox's competitors. In 1999, a new chairman took over Xerox. The Securites and Exchange Commission had accuse Xerox for overstating earnings by $3 billion. This causes a lot of problems for Xerox along with several shareholder lawsuits. At the same time Romeril, chairman's friend, made a mistake on currency exchange with the Brazilian economy which lost 13% in net worth. The chairman, Allaire, couldn't fire Romeril because of their friendship. In my opinion, Allarie should have fired Romeril. Even though, Romeril had many connections. It wasn't fine to the other employees.
