What went wrong at Xerox?
The main problem at Xerox was their management of employees. Their strict shedule forced workers to feel overworked and tired. In result, the employee left Xerox and carried valuble information with them into Xerox's competitors. In 1999, a new chairman took over Xerox. The Securites and Exchange Commission had accuse Xerox for overstating earnings by $3 billion. This causes a lot of problems for Xerox along with several shareholder lawsuits. At the same time Romeril, chairman's friend, made a mistake on currency exchange with the Brazilian economy which lost 13% in net worth. The chairman, Allaire, couldn't fire Romeril because of their friendship. In my opinion, Allarie should have fired Romeril. Even though, Romeril had many connections. It wasn't fine to the other employees.

Venture Ideas
One of my group's venture idea is to give services on nails and hair to customers in David Thompson. We are planning to bring our own equipment from house. We might set a stand near the gym doors because there are usually a lot of people in that area. Why this idea you might ask? Well, I believe young girls might not have experiences having nails or having pretty hairdo before. Our idea is to give youths a chance to have a little fun, instead of just studying all the time. Also, there are times that people have bad hair-day. This would benefit us with an advantage to help with their hair.
Our other idea is to deliver and sell holiday theme material. For example, Valentines day. We can sell and deliver roses, chocolates and cards for consumers. For the product, we would ask the customers to place an order first then deliver the materials. We might set a stand in the foyer. The start up cost might be a little high but if we do well, we might make a profit. I think this is a great idea because usually, people like to "show-off" their love to their lover. This would benefit consumers because it would be very convenience for them at a low price, instead of going to a flower shop to spend hundreds of dollars on roses.

The Business Of Sustainability
I believe that Corporations has forgotten their main purpose toward the environment and became too greed. This causes companies to look bad above consumers and the public but they don't care. They would rather making tons of money and destroy the planet but, there are some exceptions. For example M.A.C, a makeup company. They have make this recycling program which allows customers to recycle their products to get a free lipstick.
I have researched and found that Starbucks is one of them too. Starbucks has contributed into the environment by designing their stores with sustainable materials, reducing fertilizers and insecticides towards their coffee bead, creating recyclable/reusable cups, and many more. I believe that their effort weren't wasted. Even thought, it would cost much more to make those items. I believe that customers, as myself, has noticed these changes within Starbucks. This certainly would improve Starbucks reputation and image toward the public and media. Therefore, Corporations shouldn't just only rely on profits solely. Sustainability doesn't just help those corporation's image but the earth too .

The Corporations Video Reflection
I have to agree to the video "The Corporations." Corporations' belief of making money is just wrong. It's true, everyone wants to make money but making young teenagers to sew clothes are inhuman. Considering, these teenagers has a family to feed however, they only get payed few cents for each hour. Also, the expectation are unreasonable. They are excepting youths to make 10 shirts in one hour non-stop. You would except those awareness clothes to help those kids but truthfully, they don't at all. I think that these corporations should reflect on themselves first before they can criticizes and boss others.
